Apricot Blonde

A misty golden blonde ale fermented with fruit

Our most popular beer, Apricot Blonde is a Colorado icon that combines a refreshing blonde ale with the wonders of apricots. Made with pureed apricots, pale malts and a kiss of hops, this orange-hued quaffer has aromas of fresh apricots, flavors of light malt and more apricot, and a subtle sweetness followed by an “I want more” finish. Another Dry Dock repeat medalist, Apricot Blonde is a hit with those who dig artful light ales and the deft use of real fruit in a fine beer.

One of the first three beers we launched with in 2005, Apricot Blonde got its start as a homebrew created a few years before by founder Kevin Delange at The Brew Hut. Intended as a summer seasonal, popular demand soon led us to make it a year-round beer. What makes this medal winner so popular with consumers and beer experts? “It’s fruity, it’s refreshing, and it tastes like beer,” DeLange says. “We hear that from judges and beer lovers all the time.”
