It’s our favorite time of year at Dry Dock Brewing Co. and the Brew Hut, when we host the annual Docktoberfest celebration and homebrew competition.

The Docktoberfest Homebrew Competition is a single-style competition for Oktoberfest and Märzen beers. Submission guidelines can be found at thebrewhut.com and bottles must be submitted with rubber banded tags, which can be printed from bjcp.org. Submit entries at The Brew Hut from September 20 through September 26. The winner of the competition will be announced the following day at Dry Dock’s Doctoberfest celebration at 1 pm.

The annual Docktoberfest celebration will take place on Saturday, September 27 at South Dock from 11 am to 11 pm. We’ll have our Oktoberfest lager on tap, bratwursts on the grill, and live music! The Rhinelanders will be playing from 1 to 4 pm. Click here to RSVP to the event on Facebook.

Looking for Dry Dock beer at Denver’s other Oktoberfest festivals? Find it on Friday and Saturday September 12 and 13 as the featured brewery at the Lowry Beer Garden’s third annual Oktoberfest Celebration. Available at Lowry Beer Garden will be Dry Dock’s Docktoberfest Lager, Apricot Blonde, U-Boat Hefeweizen, Breakwater Pale Ale, HMS Bounty Old Ale, and Imperial Pumpkin Ale. Also on Friday and Saturday September 12 and 13, another Oktoberfest celebration will take place at the newly opened Green Valley Ranch Beer Garden. This inaugural Oktoberfest Festival will feature Dry Dock’s Docktoberfest Lager, Apricot Blonde, U-Boat Hefeweizen, USS Enterprise IPA, and one of this year’s Pro-Am beers the Rye-Zing Sun Saison.
