The Great American Beer Festival is the largest beer festival in the world, with more than 750 breweries serving more than 3500 beers. The fest attracts 60,000 attendees and even more visitors. Whether you’re one of those visitors or you’re lucky enough to call Colorado home, it’s never easy to decide what events to attend and what beers to track down around town.

You’re invited to celebrate GABF with Dry Dock Brewing Company! Join us at South Dock or North Dock for specialty tappings, at one of many events around town, and at our booth at the festival. Behold— Dry Dock’s 2015 GABF calendar of events.

 

At The Festival

Dry Dock will be serving Apricot Blonde, Pilsner, Sommer Weizenbock, Amber Ale, Hefeweizen, Wee Heavy throughout the festival. We’re also tapping specialty beers in small quantities— get these before they’re gone!

Thursday Night Session:
6:00 pm: Signature Series Double Coffee Porter
7:00 pm: Bligh’s Barleywine
8:00 – 8:30 pm: Sour Apricot*

Friday Night Session:
6:00 pm: Signature Series Double Coffee Porter
7:00 pm: Bligh’s Barleywine
8:00 – 8:30 pm: Sour Apricot*

Saturday Afternoon Session:
12:30 pm: Signature Series Double Coffee Porter
1:00 pm: Bligh’s Barleywine
2:00- 2:30 pm: Sour Apricot*

*= The Sour Apricot will only be available for 30 minutes each session.

Around Town

September 19 – October 4: Beer Flights at DIA
Dry Dock is pouring beer at Denver International Airport’s temporary beer garden in the center of the Jeppesen Terminal. The beer garden will be open from 11 am to 7 pm daily.

September 23: Dry Dock Barrel Aged Cellar Stash at Ale House at Amato’s
Ale House at Amato’s is busting out their cellar stash of barrel aged Dry Dock beers to kick off GABF! Don’t miss the 2014 Sour Apricot Blonde, 2014 Whiskey Barrel Aged Double Brown Ale, 2015 Whiskey Barrel Aged Double Vanilla Porter and 2014 Whiskey Barrel Aged Double Hazelnut Brown. Enjoy a free souvenir pint glass with every Dry Dock beer you order plus entry into a raffle for cool Dry Dock swag. The fun begins at 4:30 pm.
September 24: Falling Rock Parking Lot Mini Dry Dock Tap Takeover

Falling Rock Tap house is serving rare Dry Dock beers including Whiskey Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, Bligh’s Barleywine and Ambassador Sour on Thursday night from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

At North Dock

North Dock, Dry Dock’s production facility located at 2801 Tower Road Aurora, CO 80011, is the closest craft brewery to Denver International Airport. North Dock is home to our growing barrel program and the facility’s latest addition, the Canoe Room tasting room where we serve 9 beers on draft and sell bombers and Dry Dock merchandise. Canoe Room has extended hours for GABF: Wednesday and Thursday from 2pm to 8pm and Friday and Saturday from noon to 8pm.

At South Dock

South Dock, our original located at 15120 E. Hampden Avenue Aurora, CO 80014, is also open for extended hours during GABF week. The tasting room will begin serving at 11am every day, and guests can look forward to these specialty tappings. Get them before they’re gone!
