Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Dry Dock Brewing Company

Dry Dock is rolling out some exciting brews for St. Patrick’s Day! Both South Dock and North Dock are hosting St. Patrick’s Day celebrations on Saturday, March 14.

At South Dock, Dry Dock’s Irish Stout and brand new Irish Red recipe will be on tap, the Celtic Steps dancers will perform at 1pm, and the Michael Collins Band will play at 5:30pm. To Your Door Burritos by Ele​ will be serving corned beef burritos from 11am to 3pm.

At North Dock, Dry Dock’s Heather Pale Ale will be on tap at noon. Originating in Scotland around 2000 BC and with tales coming from generations of the Irish, heather ale is likely to be the oldest style of ale still produced today. “To put new life into this traditionally hop free, ancient ale style, we did the only thing we could think of to please today’s evolved palates…” says North Dock brewer Cory Carvatt… “We added hops!”

Dry Dock’s Heather Pale Ale starts with a slightly sweet and biscuity malt base with added hops for bittering this pale ale before adding heaps of heather flowers and oodles of fuggle hops. The result is a full bodied ale with the distinct dry and ancient floral aroma of the heather flower perfectly complimented by the woody and fruity hop aroma.
