American Craft Beer Week, May 12-18 2014

It’s American Craft Beer Week, and Dry Dock Brewing Co. is celebrating with specialty versions of the Apricot Blonde ale in the taproom, sponsoring the Colorado Bar Owner’s Association Golf Tournament, and co-hosting a book signing at Freshcraft. We even doubled up on our Friday firkin, Cherry Vanilla Golden Porpoise.

Monday, May 12
Sour Apricot Blonde tapping at 12 pm at South Dock. This beer was aged in wine barrels for more than a year It’s a 100% Lactobacillus (bacteria) fermentation, which created its tart and clean sour character.

Tuesday, May 13
#AcousticTuesday at South Dock. Enjoy live acoustic music from 6 to 9 pm.

Wednesday, May 14
Dry Dock will be serving cans at the Colorado Bar Owners Association Golf Tournament at the Arrowhead Golf Club

Geeks Who Drink at South Dock at 7 pm.

Thursday, May 15
ApriHOT tapping at 4pm South Dock. Join Dry Dock and Wing Hut for the tapping of the ApriHot collaboration! We used just over one pound of habaneros per barrel. (half fresh and half roasted). The beer was ‘cold steeped’ in secondary fermentation with the habaneros for 120 hours.

Friday, May 16
Join us each Friday for #FirkinFriday, where we tap one of our beers that’s been cask-conditioned, this week our Golden Porpoise with tart cherries and real vanilla beans. We doubled the batch this week in honor of American Craft Beer Week!

Saturday, May 17
Head to Freshcraft from 3 to 5 pm for a Colorado’s Top Brewers signing, featuring the chicken paillard dish paired with Dry Dock Amber that was featured in the book. Freshcraft will also tap a special keg of Dry Dock Sour Apricot Blonde for this event.
