Beer Belly Meltdown - Week by week Minimize

Beer Belly Meltdown Rules

A friendly competition to lose weight in a healthy, balanced and honorable manner.

Prior to first weigh in, no sandbagging or "Tom Foolery" to artificially increase your weight. Examples of "Tom Foolery" prior to weigh include but are not limited to:

  • Drinking a gallon of water and not eliminating.
  • Taking diarrhea meds to bind up and hold all the hot dogs and mac and cheese you’ve been eating for the past 3 days.
  • Hiding anything on or inside the body to increase weight (rolls of quarters, small animals, etc…)
  • If you have already sandbagged and want to come clean let us know.  We will adjust your starting weight so that your first weeks loss is more realistic.
  • No taking meds (FDA approved or not)
  • No weight loss supplements.
  • No bowel cleaning prior to weigh ins.
  • No giving up beer.  You may cut back, but you may not give up beer all together.  You work at (or frequent) a brewery.  If you need to give up beer to lose weight, join Weight Watchers.  Weigh in is on Mondays.
  • If 2 people both achieve 10% weight loss on a Monday, they split the kitty.
  • If you look like a starved Ethiopian kid with a big belly and withering limbs at your final weight in you are disqualified.

Carwash Penalty

The LAST person to lose 10% of their weight must have a car wash, wearing just a swim suit and sandals, and wash the other contestant’s cars.  The car wash will take place on a Saturday afternoon at Dry Dock. All those who have not lost 10% of their weight by the June 28th weigh in will all participate in the carwash
